It does sound like reflux. Prevacid helped us a lot too.

When my lo did this at 10 weeks we discovered it was a combo of reflux and mspi. Got her on Prevacid and nutramigen and she improved. Maybe talk to her ped about trying reflux meds and/or switch to hypoallergenic formula for a few weeks and see how she does?

Fwiw my lo was only unhappy while eating. She was happy as a clam between and almost no vomiting.

My lo has always been a great feeder & until now has gulped down her bottles (she is ff). Since birth she at times fussed a little during the odd feed but in the past 3 days this has escalated & now she is taking two gulps & then grunting, squirming, kicking, pulling away from the bottle & crying during the entire length of the feed. She is behaving hungry in the usual ways but only eating 3oz been she had been taking 4-5oz prior to this. Lo only remains distressed for a short time after we give up trying to feed her & once settled by lots of cuddles is absolutely fine between feeds.

Here are a few notes that I have made;

It could be colic? - no crying in between which makes me think not.
Intolerance to milk? Lo has green, loose but not watery nappies every 2 days. Lots of wind (smelly). Sucking on a bottle seems to stimulate wind. She is projectile vomiting at times (maybe every 3 days or so), spits up (a few mouthfuls) at every feed. However, surely she would be unhappy inbetween feeds?
Could be acid reflux? But would this not hurt in between feeds? Her vomit is sometimes curdled & acidic smelling.
She could be frustrated at teet? I have switched teets twice & she never appears to be bothered by this. Also tried a teet with a bigger hole as I thought she may be frustrated at having to work so hard to feed. This worked for one feed (no crying) but not the next.
It could be that she can't breathe through nose properly when feeding? Lo has very nasally since birth (we stayed an extra day in hospital because the midwives were concerned about the amount of mucus she was retaining & struggling to get up), she recently had a cold & is still blocked up. Her breathing is very noisy, she sneezes a lot to try & remove the snot. However she sucks on a soother quite happily without the same fussing?

Does anyone have any experience of this or feed back on my theories above?
