For our #2 we are going with an alternate spelling (an older version) of a more traditional name. When we were traveling in Belgium last year we saw it spelled Julija. We both love this variant as much if not more than the traditional spelling.</p> <p>However, we generally hate alternative spellings of common names and we are concerned that she would spend her whole life having her name misspelled and always have to spell it for people.</p> <p>Some other info for context - we have a really, really common last name. I have a very unusual first name and have spent my whole life spelling and repeating my name - overall I really like my name, get lots of compliments on it and I definitely don't hate my parent for it :happy: </p> <p>So bees, what do you think? </p>
