I got the "magic" version, for an extra 10$ it came with an extended canopy and a boot which is great for our cold Canadian winters. I do know a friend who has it and it is heavy! I considered it, but couldn't pull the trigger due to the price tag and the fact that I didn't use the infant seat we had borrowed for that long with #1. I'm pretty sure we'll go with the tried and true Chicco Keyfit this time--maybe pop a little extra for the magic version. The Chicco is one of the ones that didn't fit in the car during the initial test, so I didn't even try to install it.
