@rachiecakes: done and done :). I know, I was so sad when I pumped for 27 straight minutes this morning and only got one ounce out. I wonder if something wasn't connected properly and it wasn't on full suction.

@StrawberryBee: my milk was always blue/watery :( I was so super stressed pumping at work.
My mantra was "I can only do what I can do"
LC suggested I eat more Snickers bars though! hehe

I fed her on the right side and tried pumping the left, but only got an ounce out. Left side is starting to look a little less like milk-colored water :). Thanks bees!

@StrawberryBee: did you feed her on the right side this morning? I find the side DS didn't nurse off of usually looks more watery because there is more fore milk I think. I wouldn't worry about it.

Did LO nurse on only the right this morning? I'm guessing she just cleaned out your foremilk on that side, but the left side still has a lot of foremilk that you built up through the night.

Not this specific thing, but tons of other weird stuff during breastfeeding. One suddenly engorging, or both randomly being full or empty at weird times. Blue-ish, yellow-ish, green-ish milk.
Our body is a crazy, crazy thing!
I started to just accept however the 'girls' performed that day and figured it one go back to normal eventually and it always did!

If its just for one day or one pumping session I wouldn't worry about it! But if it goes on too long maybe look at addressing it!

This has happened every now and then. Can you pump the watery side longer and see if you produce something creamier?

Pumping at work, and it's been about four hours since I fed her (6:30am this morning, started pumping at 11am). Both sides seem to be producing the same amount of milk. The left side is coming in very blue/watery. The right side is coming in very yellowy-creamy. So basically (I am assuming) I have a lot more fat in the right side.

I'm unbalanced (in more ways than one lol). Help! has this ever happened to anyone else?
