It's what he needed though. He much prefers food and seems to only chug down his bottles at daycare when thirsty enough from eating or tired and wanting to nap. Then he nurses a lot once he's back home with me and in the MOTN! LO is 7 months, almost 20lbs and at day care for about 10 hours. I send 3 6oz bottles of breastmilk.</p> <p>Just now I read a thread and people were saying they send their LOs with 3 4oz or 5oz bottles. Is 18 oz too much? He eats it all and our pediatrician told us to do 6 or even 7 oz bottles. </p> <p>In case it is helpful, he isn't doing much solids yet and also nurses once in the morning, once before bed, and (omg, so, so tired) twice overnight. Or maybe I'm not feeding him enough... </p>
