@Weswife: I always got a very nearly positive, positives for two days and then a stark negative the next day. I have a pretty long surge, though. Sounds like you should be able to find out how long your surge is this cycle. I've read that women typically ovulate the first day of your first negative. My guess is you'll either ovulate today or tomorrow. So keep on BD-ing. Good luck! :goodluck:

You might ovulate really quickly after your LH surge or as late as 2 days later. If your LH stays high (pos opk) for more than 24 hours it can sometimes mean your body isn't ovulating well

cd12 5pm definitely looks positive. That said, these are ovulation "predictor" tests. You can't know for sure that you've ovulated unless you start charting your basal temps and see a temp rise.

It is variable about how long it should stay positive (that could end up being the only positive, or you could get positives for the next 24 hours). It should go away after a day or two though, definitely.

@faithlove224: how long should it stay positive for? I am going to test again tonight and then three times each day... Just want to be sure it not a whacky month again so I am hoping it gets lighter again after a few days

Hi ladies this is my fourth month Ttc after my mc. I have been using Opks since December. But when I spoke to the fertility specialist last week it sounds like I haven't been ovulating at all. So now on progesterone to help my cycle I am wondering if this will be my first normal cycle again and I actually may be ovulating. If you have pics to share of your positive Opks for reference that would be great. I actually don't really know what a positive for me looks like! 😞... Is this it? Or am I just getting close?
