I don't work for my FIL but my boss is very open to having LO in the office as much as I need her to be. I'm very against putting our LO's in daycare (my husband is all for it) but with my income I'd be paying more than 1/2 of it towards daycare, and I'd much rather stay home and be the one taking care of them.<br /> My Mom watches them for us when my husband and I are both working. Its a flexible schedule thankfully! We also have lots of family and friends. My job is normal hours, so I'd be gone in the morning. DH doesn't leave the house for work until around noon. My mom gets off work around 1pm. What we're hoping will happen is for DH to wait for my mom to come over before he leaves. Then I come home sometime after 4. In fact, we had daycare lined up months in advance. It took a lot of research to find someone we felt comfortable with. We both work full-time and don't have any family resources so it was tough. I'd love to have a real plan, but my husband just can't make up his mind about how he wants to handle it all. We wouldn't be in this positions if we didn't have a lot of options, though. Both my SIL and MIL will be off for the summer (teachers) and both really want to watch him. I work for my FIL and he really wants me to bring in the baby as much as I feel comfortable with to work. He'll also work with me to work from home some. And we have a couple of friends whose daycares only take kids under 1 year and almost always have openings. When we go back to work my sister will take her on Sundays and I will try to get my work as close to going around DH's as possible.
