Either that, or you are reading into it too deeply. Yes, I think your chances diminishes as you age but 32 is a normal time to get pregnant. I believe people said after 35 will be harder so you are good. I think I tried for a year, and was around your age (32-33) when I went into seek help. I removed an endometrial polyp two times (it grew back after the first surgery). I was borderline giving up between 34-35. I conceived at 35 completely naturally and gave birth 36. </p> <p>Did they specifically find anything wrong with you ? You're just 32 that's within the most fertility age of women (till 35). People are getting pregnant nowadays even when they're approaching 50. Yes, it is possible and can very much be done by any good fertility clinic unless you have any pressing infertility issues. As long as your ovaries and uterus are pretty much functional you can keep your hopes high. You've just been trying for a few month dear it's pretty early actually for even the RE to conclude that your the case is beyond cure (as per your mention). No infertility is absolute anymore and even the most worse cases to have a cure or a solution. So ditch your current clinic and look for something which has more success rates with older couples. I had my daughter at 36 and I'm pregnant again at 38. Did you have any hormone testing done? There are two tests that can give you an idea of your egg reserve. These are FSH and AMH. Ask your doctor about those if you're wanting to know. Otherwise, try not to stress. I was in a similar situation as you. I think I stopped using protection around 31 (and no honestly I wasn't ready, I love working too much lol) . Did not get conceived for 5 years (!) But we also didn't seek specific help for IVF and such. I did go to my GYN after a year (when I was around 32, I think). They did a series of tests and found out I have a polyp the size of a pancake that was on the uterine wall. They removed it surgically. It grew back after a few months? They removed it again. And then I think that was that. There was still nothing for a while. I was going to give up and get back on protection when I hit 36 but right before that it happened.</p> <p>Good luck to you! I was almost 33 when they were delivered. </p> <p>Also, having been through infertility, it is common people trying to take up to 6 months to conceive. It's normal. I think there is some myth that out there that think normal people should conceive the first time or within 3 months. </p> <p>Also, did you see a fertility specialist, did they tell you that you were too old? I find that absurd that an RE would say you are too old. I've seen many people get pregnant without help who are older than 32. </p> <p>If you did see a specialist, I could see them saying there was a specific reason (hormone levels, other health issues), but not age of a person.
