@mynoahbear: You are an amazing mother. In the "We Love You Noah!" Noah's little face in the second photo is priceless, you can tell how much he loved you too, the smile in his eyes is just so moving, I just don't even have words for how his sweet face has touched me.

@mrbee: thank you so much for the post and love. We've been so lucky with all the support we've gotten from everyone. We are so grateful. Before Noah was born, we had no idea what trisomy 18 was and we've so many strong and loving parents of trisomy 18 parents, it's amazing.

@mrbee: Yep, tears. Lots and lots of them! Parents that go through such trying and hard times with their children are so amazing. They have to be the strongest people in the world. I just want to hug them all! And little Noah! He is so precious. It breaks my heart. I don't understand why such innocent and perfect children have to go through such hard times and not even get a fair chance at life. I will have to finish reading it later because I have too many tears to be able to right now!

I wanted to share an amazingly moving blog that one of our members has in her profile.

http://noahkarlweber.wordpress.com/

In her own words:

"Noah Karl Weber was born on August 19, 2010 at 1:27 AM.

Noah was born at exactly 33 weeks, at a weight of 1144 grams, after Mommie's water broke unexpectedly at 12:00 midnight on the 18th.

Mommie, Daddy and Noah were transferred by ambulance after 18 hours in our first hospital, and after one day in the 2nd hospital's MFICU, Noah was born!

Noah was born with Trisomy 18, which is a rare genetic disorder. Because of the nature of the disorder, we have decided to take a less invasive approach to Noah's treatment. Both Mommie and Daddy are happy that we have Noah, and have had this time to be with him, so we have created this blog to share and update with family and friends."

I have read Noah's blog many times, and it moves me so much every time. You can tell that Noah's parents love him very much. The latest post is about a photo exhibit of Trisomy 18 babies in Tokyo. I have to admit that my eyes misted up and I almost cried.

I think part of becoming a parent is realizing that you love your kids soooo much that you would do anything for them. When I see a parent love their child as much as Noah's parents do, it moves me so profoundly. Becoming a parent has allowed me to feel such a connection to other people that I didn't feel before - especially other parents. I am very grateful for that, because it has totally transformed how I relate to other people in general.

To Noah's mom and dad: I was so moved by your blog, and wanted to thank you so much for sharing Noah's story! I am sending your family infinite Bee love from Brooklyn!!

Love,
Mr. Bee
