@travelingbrit - Thanks for the info! I will definitely weigh it out with DH and consider getting it. Maybe signing up for it when I want to do the registry completion. Thanks for the specifics especially!

@ladyfingers - Oh! I didn't know that! I hadn't heard of the Universal Registry, so I will definitely check it out! Definitely want the additional completion discount. Thanks!

I know you didn't ask this question, but you might want to consider using Amazon's Universal Registry rather than MyRegistry -- you won't get your registry completion discount (10%) on Amazon items that were logged over at MyRegistry. You can still add stuff from other stores on Amazon using their little website widget!

Amazon Mom is essentially Amazon Prime, but with extra discounts on baby stuff.

I believe it's $89/ year but they offer a 3 month trial if you've never been a prime member before.

Membership benefits include free two day shipping on most items, as well as 20% subscriptions for diapers and wipes.

Additionally, they just had an event where they sent a 20% off coupon to all members.

For me, it's worth it. I order enough little things, that annual shipping would have cost me more than $89. Since I got the coupon, I saved $100 on a big order, so it's already paid for itself.

It just depends on how much you order from Amazon. If you only order items over $25 (which qualify for free shipping normally) or if you don't order diapers/wipes, it may not be worth it.

The membership also gets you free Prime video on demand and 1 free kindle download from the lending library per month.

I've heard Amazon Mom mentioned a couple of times and wonder what it is actually and how it works? Checked on the website and it looks like you have to pay to sign up? But I don't even know what it is yet?
How much? Is it worth it?

Also - does it link with Amazon baby registry? So far, I'm compiling stuff I want on MyRegistry, but I'd say about 80% of it is from Amazon.

Sorry if this is a redundant or silly question. TIA
