I get them and immediately delete them. If I want to review your product, I will. The more you hound me, the more likely I am to give your company a negative review.

@Mrsbells: I generally mean the reviews where a reviewer has been given the product for free or reduced price in exchange for an "honest" review. Some of the glowing reviews in no way reflect the actual product. Or the reviews which give a 5 star rating with a vague or incorrect description of the product. Or a review that negatively rates an item (like zero stars) and it turns out they are using the product completely incorrectly. I feel like you reallllly have to wade through reviews nowadays and that wasn't the case 4 or 5 years ago. A few years ago before they implemented the verified reviews, you could review something even if you hadn't purchased it. A lot of those products with glowing yet unverified reviews still remain.

Yes, so annoying since it feels like so much lately. I have also noticed customer service isn't consistently great like it used to be.

I used to review more, but those annoying emails combined with the bogus reviews have led me to stop reviewing. I now just delete.

Yes. So annoying! I've found that I get those annoying emails for most things I order online these days. Target, Home Depot, Overstock. And it's always within a week of ordering so how am I supposed to know how well the product works for more than a day?

I've gotten them a few times too. I think it's annoying when I get them and usually just ignore and delete.

I've been getting those emails also. I just automatically delete them. I'm guessing the majority of buyers don't review products/sellers so maybe they are aggressively trying to get people to be more active? I don't know. It is annoying though.

I'm starting to get a bit peeved with amazon lately, or I guess with their sellers. Now every time i buy something I get flooded with emails asking me to review the product. I am a very avid reviewer but I dont rush to post reviews because I wait til I actually use the product for some time. Some things I buy in advance of actually using them so it takes a while to post a review but i just keep getting the constant emails about it. I dont remember amazon being like this before. Its also odd that we have to review the product separately and then review the seller as well. Am I the only one?
