I love them both :) usually I use Prime Pantry for the big stuff and subscribe and save for the small stuff. Also, it's really easy to re-order from your past Prime Pantry orders, so I feel like they're the same level of effort / time.

Prime pantry didn't have as much of a selection, or as good prices. I only did it this week because I declined prime shipping, and got $5.99. I still got the diapers in two days, so it was a win win lol. I used the credit, bought 5 qualifying items that we needed, and got free shipping. And- I also got the big box of Amazon wipes for $5 with my box.

@Mamaof2: I needed a few items last week before my monthly shipment so it worked out. Check out Jungle Deals and Steals, they usually have a listing of the current best Pantry deals. I got a bulk box of amazon wipes last time for $5! We like those for the car to clean hands, etc.

It really depends! Sometimes pantry is cheaper because the price is and there's a coupon. It's that crazy fluctuating Amazon pricing! But I've only tried pantry once when I bought 5 specific items and got free shipping. A lot of times if you decline 2 day shipping they'll give you a xoupon for free pantry shipping as well, waiving that $5.99 fee.
