Out of curiosity, I just googled this, and apparently it's been a thing for years (I have yet to encounter it myself--knock on wood!). Evidently if you violate the purchase limit, Amazon can cancel your account!
@PinkElephant: Can you have friends and family order them for you? Is the household limit really ONE? That's so crazy...

@PinkElephant: I have never had this problem - can you post a link? I'm curious if others can purchase more than 1 of said item

What?! That's so weird...

@Bibliolove: I usually buy between Target & Amazon, whichever is cheaper and since I have Target card for 5% sometimes I'll choose Target to save on tax!

This just happened to me last month when I was trying to buy door hinges. I wanted 6 and it would only let me purchase 4. (which doesn't even make sense because for interior doors you need 3 hinges!)

This just happened to me for gate openers for our driveway gate. I needed 3 but could only buy 1. So I decided to buy it from somewhere else.

I know there are a lot of Amazon shoppers on HelloBee, sooo....have any of you noticed an uptick recently in items being restricted in quantity? As in, from your same account you can only buy one of an item? Not just one per order, but one, forever, period. I keep running into this while trying to buy favors for my daughter's birthday party. It seems so silly - I've never seen this before, and it's not like I'm trying to buy 100s or 1000s of something, or like it is a great deal on an electronic. It's ribbon wands!

Am I just having bad luck, or have others seen a lot of this recently as well?
