<p>I've had positive experiences with warehouse deals, but I've never purchased a car seat through them. Most of my purchases look brand new, and returns have been fairly easy. Once I did buy a stroller, which was defective (frame was broken), and the biggest pain was lugging it to PostNet to send it back.

<p>@pinkb: thanks! I think I might go for it. If there's no tag / manual attached I'm going to return it.

<p>We just got a open box car seat from them. It came with the manual still attached to the seat. ( but I don't think all of them come with tags or even a manual attached usually, just in the box ) But you could tell the one we got had never even been put together. It is the only open box experience I have had with them, but it was a positive one.

<p>I need a secondary harnessed booster for my ILs car. The one I've been looking at is available via Amazon warehouse. It states in the description it's an open box and the box will be damaged. It's been a while since I bought a new car seat. Do they come with tags attached? I'm just not sure how to tell otherwise if the seat has been used since I know Amazon is pretty liberal with their return policies!
