Never heard of the code yellow/Adam alert, but I've never worked in a store. I had also never heard of a Silver alert (for missing seniors or mentally disabled adults) until I was driving in North Carolina a few years ago and there were signs for it. I was 20 when I worked there.</p> <p>I learned about Amber Alerted not long after they were first introduced. My dad was...well, Amber Hagerman was about a year and a half younger than me and lived about 4.5 hours from us. It hit close to home for him but he was open about what happened and what the alert was.</p> <p>I think it's great the info is sent to phones now. None of them knew what an Amber Alert was...They're in their early 20s. I can't remember exactly how old I was but I remember it being sometime in high school, we drove through a road black and the officer told my parents about an amber alert and I never forgot because I was so sad that a little girl was missing. </p> <p>Do you know what an amber alert is?
