My kindergartener is tired after a morning of half day kindergarten, and absolutely wrecked after school on the days she goes to an an after school enrichment program. I don’t feel she’d be very productive in a PM kindergarten class. Kids are much more fresh in the morning, and for a half-day program, that's when the best focus and learning can occur. One he is on the list for PM and the other AM. </p> <p>Since he is in daycare 9ish hours a day it doesn't make a big difference. What is/was your preference? If you didn’t get your preference, how did things work out for you?</p> <p>DD will start kindergarten in the fall. The school currently has AM and PM Kindergarten but they may vote to go all day soon. DH and I work FT so DD will be in on campus 7:30-5 anyway. I don’t know if parents’ preference is given any consideration but I figured I should think about it before her registration appointment this month. </p>
