My baby TOTALLY sleeps through the night according to this definition. WOOT! And the truth is, I feel more rested now with TWO kids, cobedding (sidecar) with the baby, than I did with ONE kid who I "sleep trained" at 6 months. Maybe I'm just used to sleep deprivation? No seriously, I think there's something to this....

Dr. Sears is a big proponent of this, too! Co-sleeping didn't work for us because we formula fed at night and E has always been a great sleeper, but i totally would've done this if we'd needed to!

very valid points! :) DH and I were very open to co-bedding (DH moreso than me, even!) the only problem was I couldn't sleep at all with LO in bed with me, and it seems like he sleeps more deeply in his own separate space too! we're keeping an open mind for #2 though!
