It gave me piece of mind when she was younger. Now we'll get a beep once in a while when she wedges herself wayyy in a corner or something, I just go in and move her a little so the sensor can pick her up again. I loved it. I never got an alarm (thankfully) and it gave me such peace of mind. I can't remember exactly how many months old my son was, but the alarm went off one night. It was not malfunctioning and my son wasn't in the corner of his crib so not a false alarm either. I got it because I was worried that if I got a video monitor I would do nothing but watch it all the time but I still wanted a way to check on LO and make sure he was safe. It gives me so much peace of mind.
