We have a rear entry garage so there's an alley way. They will literally walk down their driveway into the alley and stand at the bottom of our driveway looking into our garage. One time, the guy actually walked up halfway up our driveway and continued to inquire this and that with the hubby. It's a very family friendly neighborhood. Our neighbors behind us have a party once a year, I don't even remember what holiday, but that can get pretty loud. It is the worst though...</p> <p>Our neighbors here are always outside with their LOs. They have a big back yard, It's good though, that they spend time with their kids and take them outside. But my back yard is right next to them so I always hear EVERYthing. The kids are young so there's a lot of crying and screaming, and the mom is ALWAYS shouting their names and telling them NO! I tried to relax and lay out the other day but it wasn't very relaxing :o/ </p> <p>Oh and they have this dog...I think it's a pit-mix. Sometimes they rile her up by playing tug of war and then if I'm boarding a dog, and I take it out to walk, she runs to the fence and starts viciously barking and snarling! One time in the early morning I was taking out 2 dogs, and she got out and attacked one of the dogs. Luckily they were very furry, big Akitas and she didn't really get a hold...but still! UGH!</p> <p>Oh and our neighbors upstairs party a lot. One day last week we were woken up at 4:15am by some loud conversation going on on their balcony. How rude!! They were an older couple, so it's not like they were having huge parties, it was just that every thing they did was so loud-- TV loud, conversations loud, walking (stomping??) loud. I think it was partly because of the insulation or something though-- when they vacuumed DH said it sounded like chainsaw wrestling. </p> <p>Now we have an annoying dog outside our window and they leave him outside barking for a long time. He goes nuts every time someone walks their dog past his yard, so annoying. I used to live in a ranch style condo and had noisy neighbors all around . Upstairs was a high heel wearing mom with a little girl who loved to play basketball early in the morning and the man behind me used to scream at his wife in the evenings. Our next door neighbors are incredibly loud, angry laughers--it sounds ridiculous but it's so loud! They watch TV or something every night and basically scream-laugh for hours.</p> <p>Our new downstairs neighbor has recently started doing workout videos or something every afternoon/night. Our entire apartment shakes and thumps and IT'S SO ANNOYING. They leave it outside to bark, bark, bark all day. Then they put it outside for 30+ minutes at 11:00pm. I called the cops last week because I was a cranky pregnant lady and had had enough!
