I'm pretty sure at my postpartum check they said to come back in the fall (1 year from my last pap) even though I don't need a pap for 2 more years.

Had a baby in November and they did a pap at my 6 week checkup after that. Next annual exam is in December again.

I had my annual exam around 2 months postpartum. It was one year from my previous annual/pap. I think my OB tries to keep people on their regular schedule.

Based on the fact that I have the same partner- they said I only need to come in every couple years. And keep giving me birth control. I had a six week exam.

They did a Pap at my 6-week postpartum, so I would typically get a Pap done a year later. I need yearly paps though, I believe the recommendation has changed for the general populace.

I ended up going in only 12 weeks or so after LO was born, mostly because I hadn't had a PCP up until that point and I wanted to make sure I had one since I knew that I'd probably get sick with a newborn. In retrospect, it was weird to go in so soon after my post-partum check-up but I was so used to doctors visits at that point that I didn't really even think about it.

I went to my 6 week and then I'm pretty sure I just went on my usual schedule, which is usually in February so it ended up like 7 months PP I think.

When did you get an annual gynecological exam after childbirth? One year later? I'm 13 months postpartum and it just occurred to me that maybe I need to schedule an exam but I will be finding a new office so I figured I'd ask beds first.
