<description>&#60;p&#62;I thought this would be a nice article for discussion in light of the open vs closed adoption discussion we've been having. It seems that a lot of the issues (though not all) that this adoptee brings up are taken off the table in open adoption. It still makes adoptive families more complex families, but in my mind it's not that different than step-families or other family configurations.&#60;/p&#62;
