I like these because they're flexible -- they look just as good with leggings as without, so DD can wear them on both cooler and hotter days.

we have one from zutano that she can't wear with leggings- the dress part is stitched all the way down, so I say go without!

Alone- I'd have her wear it like a dress. But if it's cooler out, cute with leggings too

We wear them without additional pants - I think they're adorable :)

Also, we totally rock the too-short-pant-'capris' too ;)

@Anagram: yeah, it's Carter's, from kohls. It's really cute on, with or without leggings. I won't put her in real dresses until she is either able to crawl in them or walking. It's too sad to see her struggling with the skirt just because I think it looks cute!

Lol. When M was under 2, I loved dressing her in one of those without bottoms. I totally layered bottoms underneath when she needed something on her knees though

@Foodnerd81: I usually put leggings or capris on with those. I have some Carter's "dresses" that have a onesie underneath but the dress part is longer than the onesie so the onesie isn't visible. I think if the onesie is visible then it's meant to be worn with something underneath.

@Smurfette: Yeah I like that they look like a dress, but it's short enough that it's not all caught under her knees while she crawls. But then I was like.... is my kid not really dressed? Especially since I rarely put shoes on her?

R wears them like a dress. They usually cover the bum, so it looks like a dress and not a onesie.

Would you have your LO wear a "sunsuit" like this on it's own, or with shorts or pants? It's like a short dress with a onesie attached underneath. The onesie does show, but I don't know if it's supposed to be more like a dress/romper, or a top.

This is obviously incredibly important.

(I have done it both ways already. Sometimes I put leggings on if she is going to be crawling outside, but if it's hot and she will only be crawling inside, I don't. Also, the leggings are totally too short on her so I call them capris. No shame.)
