@looch: No, never. But I do love that the Combi easily gives us that option.

The Foonf has a 9 year life span & the highest weight & height limits so it's pretty much outlasts all carseats! lol It's just over 2 times the amount of the Combi which we could get 2 (for P) & 3 (from birth for the new bebe) years out of.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Yep! We'd get the Foonf's in 2 & 4 years respectively (I know P would probably fit in the Combi until almost age 4 at the growth rate she's going.)

Do you travel by air at all? If yes, then Combi.

I'd get the seat with the longest life.

Two Combis are safe, fit, and cost less. I'd go with that.

If you plan on ultimately getting the Foonf, then it makes sense to get one now and then the other later so as to spread out the expense. But it doesn't make sense to buy a combi now, only to just buy two Foonfs down the road. So I say, if you have they money now, buy the Foonf now.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Yes you can do that with the Combi as well!

@zippylef: That's what I'm thinking too! It's be nice to now foot so much right now! DH and I really want to get in a better financial spot so *hopefully* 2-3 years from now a $400 carseat wouldn't make DH break out into a sweat so much! lol

Id get the Combi. I think paying down the debt is probably more important in the long run.

On another thread you said you really like the Foonf because you can seat three across the seat. Can you do that with a Combi?

I'm at a cross roads for what carseat to get before this next bub comes...... I have two options.

1. Buy a Foonf for P & give the Combi to the new bebe.... we'd ultimately have to get another Foonf when this next one outgrows the Combi.

or

2. Buy another Combi since P could easily still fit in her Combi until ATLEAST 3 with where she in on the %. Then we'd still ultimately get the Foonfs in the next 2-3 years.

I know option 2 saves money in the long run BUT I think right now since we're still working on paying down some debt, etc, it's be easier to get the 170ish Combie (on sale) than the 400+ish foonf. I love the look of both seats so I just don't know which route to go.

Thoughts?
