I'm not the most tech savvy, but I backup all my photos on Amazon cloud, because I get unlimited photo storage with my prime membership. I back up my computer to an external hard drive regularly, too. Amazon let s you back up photos straight from your phone and view them anywhere, but there's probably some downside I'm not clever enough to see.

@Mae, @birdofafeather, @snowjewelz: Thanks, ladies! This is helpful.

I would love to spend some time implementing a new organization/backup system. It's overwhelming to think about it so most days I just want to know that the data is safe :)

I upload to computer and to hard drive once in a long while. Usually they go from my phone to drop box/amazon/google+

I also use the chatbooks app to print out pics every month

I backup my computer as a whole on an external (2tb) drive regularly. My photos are stored separately on two other external drives (just because I have too many to keep them on my computer) and those photos are backed up to zenfolio.

I feel like my digital life is in disarray! I have 2 external hard drives to backup our pictures (both are totally disorganized, though) and a strange incident this morning got me thinking about how to better protect my data. Long story short, I had one of my external drives in my bag and stupidly put a water bottle in that bag too. You get the picture... the drive seems to be ok and displaying the files but but I am now even more nervous about how to organize myself.

My question is this: what's your favorite way to backup your data? Do you use an external hard drive or cloud backup, or both?

I am toying with the idea of backing up my backups (!) to the cloud, but I am not sure which service has what I am looking for. I know some of the services allow you to just restore a file, but do any of the cloud services allow you to also view your files? Like, if they are not accessible on a hard drive? I guess what I am really looking for is a way to store all of my data in one place, online, away from any future potential water bottle spills! Just not sure if this even exists...
