@NovBaby1112: Yeah I think we'll have to test that out by default tonight. It won't be a real dream feed since I need to take off her clothes and change her diaper before she's down for the 'night' which might wake her up anyway, but definitely won't encourage anymore awake time tonight.

@JoJoGirl: she might start sleeping longer and not be so over tired with an earlier bedtime. But yea, I know it's rough when they go down so early. A dream freed might be enough to keep her sleeping longer- so if her longest stretch between feeds is 5 hours, if she goes down to bed around 7, you could dream feed around 9/10 and then maybe she will sleep 5 more hours after that. Just an idea though!

@NovBaby1112: good thought.. I've been fighting her on earlier bedtimes because I can't go to bed at 7 :( and her longest sleep stretch is still around 5 hrs. I am so pained by the thought of the night really starting at 1am.

@MsLipGloss: Not longer than 2 hours usually.. today she napped a bit in the morning. She slept in the moby from say 3:30-5, then we got in the car to drive home from a friend's, she ate around 5:30 then conked out at 6:30 after 30 mins of rocking/bouncing.

I would just let her keep sleeping and maybe do a dream feed around 9 or so. She might be ready for an earlier bedtime. I remember around that age lo started going to bed earlier- like 630/7.

Tonight is the second night in a row LO melted down from exhaustion around 5:30/6pm.. I got her down for a 'nap' around 6:30 and she's still asleep at 7:45pm. We have been aiming for a 8/8:30pm bedtime (she's 11 weeks so I go to bed when she does). Last night I woke her up around 8 and couldn't get her back to sleep until 9:30. I HATE waking her up but this feels like it's cutting into our evening sleep. She last ate at 5:30pm so will need another big meal before she goes down for the night anyway. Not sure what to do..?
