I asked my mom her opinion and she thought I shouldn't rule it out if DH and I really liked the name. She said the girl version was actually almost my name, so she obviously really loves the name too! Dh hates his stepmother, so we would never use any form of her name, although it doesn't have a male version (Beth, so nothing like Elizabeth, which is a lovely name).
