It's nice to have a couple different sizes of crock pots.</p> <p>We also have a rice cooker that I plan on keeping. I imagine we will have some meals where we will want to use both the instant pot and the rice cooker? We'll see how it goes. I've read that the IP shines at pressure cooking, rice, yogurt, etc but it's not great as a slow cooker. I haven't tested that function personally, though. On average we use them once a week. Considering adding an Instant Pot to my Christmas list and having just one appliance to store. Any thoughts? </p>
