@Thenetexan: That’s a good idea! It’s not a high traffic area so no worries of how the paint would hold up as long as you prime it and then paint it. The tile might actually give the frame an interesting texture when painted.

@Becky: I've heard of services that resurface/paint tile. I have no idea how good or bad it is.

Could you paint the tile trim around mirror? I don’t have experience, other than once painting a tile picture frame a different color. But thought it might be an option since ripping out is not.

@Becky: Yeah that could get a bit more extensive to rip out - with wall repair probably. We had palladian with dark cabinets and it looked really nice.

@kiddosc: I love moon beam and we have it in our living room! I’ll slap some on and see if it works.

@psw27: Those are pretty colors—I definitely like them. Unfortunately the mirror is tiled and grouted in 😭

We have Moonbeam by Valspar in our master bathroom. It's very subtle blue and I think would work nicely with your accent tile. We also have espresso colored cabinets and it works nicely with both dark and light trim.

I also like the idea of painting the trim around the window/door.

This isn't our bathroom, but an example of the color.

I suggest:

- Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore
- Shoreline by Sherwin Williams.
- Oh and Quiet Moments by Sherwin Williams.

I think swapping out that mirror would make a big difference as well. And painting the trim around the window white.

As you might be able to tell we are doing a lot of painting and small hardware updates in our house and you all have been very helpful with ideas!

Our master bath was remodeled by the previous owners within the past 6-10 years and is not my style. I love bright bathrooms (white walls, white tile, farmhouse style) but we are not going to swap anything except for the paint color on the walls. Ideas for what color to use? My original thought was something similar to the small greenish accent tile. I will also be using gold Rustoleum to refresh the hardware (not the faucet though).
