I rinse out my pump parts and store them in a cooler bag with an ice pack. It's separate from my cooler bag with the bottles so I have two small ice packs. I do get a little moisture in the tubes but I Just run the pump without the pump parts attached and shake the tubes a bit and the moisture pumps right out.

I actually just rinsed in the hottest water possible, and then let them air dry in a mesh bag. They were usually dry by the next pump. And just wash at end of day in the dishwasher.

I use the Medela wipes and store the pump parts in my cooler bag with my pumped milk. They stay nice and chilly so I'm assuming its just as good as putting them in the fridge (might be an option for ladies who work with men).
I have gotten a little moisture in the tubes but just run the pump with nothing attached to air it out.

When I used to do this here was my process (Medela Freestyle):

1. Unplug tubing from pump parts
2. Unscrew bottles and set on counter (no lids yet).
3. Run water through the pump parts (not a ton)
4. Set pump parts up right on a papertowl to drip dry
5. Put lids on bottles and put in bag/cooler
6. Use the paper towel or a new one to wipe off any extra water (usually in the bottom part by the screw and the horns)
7. Put in a bag/cooler for the fridge with extra paper towels to help them dry.

By not actually disassembling the pump parts and just running water through the parts that milk runs through, I didn't really have an issue.

I don't rinse between sessions. I unplug the flanges from the tubing and store the flanges with new bottles attached in my cooler bag at my desk. Grab and go for the next session. HOT water and soap soak nightly and I microwave steam them once a week.

I don't rinse between pumps at work. I just wipe down the pump parts & bottles with a paper towel and throw in the fridge. The tubing doesn't go into the fridge.

@SLR: I dont rinse between pumps, I just put it straight in the fridge with the milk on it. and I keep the part that touches the tubes out of the fridge and always dry because I dont want moisture getting in the tubes

I never put the parts in the fridge after I rinsed them, because I work with mostly men and I didn't want to freak them out by having pump parts in the community fridge. I rinsed and dried them as best I could with a paper towel (especially getting in the hole where the tube connects to the flange), and then wrapped them with a new paper towel until the next pump session. That seemed to get most of the moisture out. If there was any moisture in the tubes, I just did what @pelikila: said.

You can always disconnect the bottles from the pump and let the pump run with the tubing still connected for a minute or two and the tubes will dry out.

A little moisture hasn't bothered me so far. Another option is the Medela pump wipes for when you don't have time/chance to clean the parts.

I've got another (maybe dumb) question for you all. It sounds like most of you rinse the pump parts and store in the fridge between pumping sessions, so you use just one set per day and don't have to spend time washing between sessions.

But if you rinse and put in the fridge, do you have a problem with water getting in the tubing the next time you pump? It seems like every time I've pumped when they weren't totally dry, I end up with some moisture in the tubing.
