Also, setting a time limit helped for me as well.. I'd count down the minutes. "If he's still crying after 10 minutes I'll go get him." Then checking a digital clock over and over to see how many minutes I have left. I know what you mean but my LO teethes for a VERY long time per tooth. She seems to have the slowest moving teeth EVER (to me anyway, but what do I have to compare it to). You'll see that tiny white sliver and then I swear it takes a month or more to come out.
