I got a prescription for the mini pill but I don't take it. I wanted to see if my body would reset itself. I am 16 months pp and I think it might be trying. I spot for a day or two every three weeks or so. It didn't start until 12 months pp though. I'm ok with an oops happening.

I'm never messing with my hormones again once they're sorted out, so no matter what I will not take BCP again. I guess it depends on why you were having anovulatory cycles.

I really hope pregnancy does kick start things and I have less trouble TTC subsequent children.

I was anovulatory before having DS. He was conceived with help of a few cycles of clomid and provera. After he was born, and after he finally started weaning, my cycles were kick started and I was regular again.

So, yeah, it can happen.

If your infertility included anovulation did you go on birth control after giving birth on the chance that the pregnancy would've "reset" your body? My RE told me there is a chance that pregnancy might kick start ovulation so I'm trying to decide if it's worth going on birth control. I have my postpartum appointment next week.
