I have an anterior placenta, am plus sized but felt first movement late in 17w (but this is second pregnancy); movement felt more like a pushing out sensation than flutter and only happened once. It was probably around 20w that I started feeling more constant movement, now at 34w LO doesn't stop but most of the movement is still just a feeling of pushing outward with an occasional good kick.

I had an anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until 20w6d, which I remember because it was also the day of our sonogram and I finally felt something that was definitely the baby that night! From there, the movements got stronger and more consistent over time, so try to be patient! :)

It sounds like I'm not alone. :) I was laying down a bit ago and may have felt something. I was on my left side and felt a small "pop" feeling, on my right side, around the waist of my pants. Here's to hoping she starts making moves I can feel!

I had an anterior placenta and was plus sized as well. It took me until around 20 weeks or so to feel movement but it took much longer to feel it on the outside and to see it. In the 30's. Even towards the end I didn't feel a ton of movement, but she was breech and once we learned this the type of movements I was feeling made sense. I'll be honest, it did kind of stink because I loved feeling the movements when they happened. That being said, she didn't keep me up at night moving so that's a bonus!

i have an anterior placenta and didn't feel a thing, not even flutters, until 21-22 weeks. then it just felt like gas bubbles, so i skipped the whole flutter part completely, and believe me, i was paying close attention!

I'm 22 weeks with twin girls. I also have an Anterior placenta and I am not sure if I've felt something or not, ha! The Dr said to enjoy it now bc soon I"ll feel the kicks to the ribs etc... that will be nice to know I'm feeling something but they won't be fun to feel :) Have no worries, before you know it you'll be feeling something!!!

I had an anterior placenta as well, I didn't feel "good" movement until 21-22 weeks, until she was strong enough to kick through the placenta. It stinks, but it will come, just a little nerve-racking until you can really start feeling it. Watch for flutters/butterflies that happens first.

I'm plus sized and have been told that I have an anterior placenta, which means that it'll take longer to feel LO move around. Currently I'm 19w3d, and haven't felt any movements.

Are there any other bees in this situation? When did you feel movement?
