I think the most likely scenario here is that you are getting a positive because of your recent dose of Rhogam.

I had a rhogam shot for a miscarriage, then kept testing positive for many months afterwards (I got pregnant again right after). They said it shouldn’t give me a positive for that long, but they were wrong. It ended up turning negative by the time I had the other rhogam shot later in the pregnancy.

@Sushi0917: How far along are you and how long ago did you get your last Rhogam shot? There is a difference in an active anti-d (which would be “real” and what *could* be cause for concern) and passive anti-d (from rhogam). The Anti-D showing up is almost definitely as a result of your most recent rhogam shot!

Not exactly the same, but they did find these antibodies in the cord blood after my LO was born, I don't think I was tested earlier (I'd had two rhogam shots during the previous pregnancy, which ended in loss). They said it substantially increased his risk for jaundice so he was watched closely for that, but never developed it or any other complications. I'm sorry you're gong through this

Did anyone have problems developing anti D antibodies in subsequent pregnancies? A little background, this is my second pregnancy and I am RH negative. I had two Rhogam shots during my last pregnancy and have already received one this pregnancy due to some early spotting. After my first blood draw came back positive for antibodies they had me test again last week and the second test came back positive, but my lab report didn't have a titer score. I'm waiting to hear back from my OB, but immediately I went to Google and everything I found resulted in some type of intervention before or after birth. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
