You've really given me some hope!! I know my thyroid has to do a lot with my hormonal imbalance and I really think an acupuncturist is exactly what I need!! So, I just called a highly recommended and rated acupuncturist who specializes in fertility. She would want me to do about 6 sessions for the length of my cycle and they are $80 each! DH feels like that is a whole lot of money that could be going towards the next steps with the RE! I really want to try it, but he's not sold! So, I don't know what to do now! Vitamin b, Vitex, acupuncture helped to correct the short LP. I worked with a naturopath and did acupuncture to lengthen it and increase the quality of my lining. I also had a borderline under active thyroid which the naturopath treated as well. My LPs in the other 7 ranged from 9 to 11 days (trending longer over time). I was taking vitex, a B complex and seeing an acupuncturist to try to improve them. It's worked and I've gotten pregnant, but had two losses (probably also due to hormones out of whack).</p> <p>But I'd ask about progesterone if I wrre you. I have had two successful pregnancies, took about 10 cycles for the first and maybe 5/6 cycles for my second. I started seeing an acupuncturist, eating off her diet plan, and taking the herbs she recommended and after 3 months I was up to 11 days and then got pregnant the next month. I went off BC in Aug. '14 and didn't get a natural cycle until Aug. '15. I had my thyroid removed back in Dec. '11 do to Thyroid Cancer and it turns out my thyroid levels were surpressing my ovulation. I tried Clomid and Femara and nothing was working! If I did ovulate, I get my period about 6-7 days later. I had a laprascopy done and everything is fine. No PCOS or Endo. The only thing I suffer from is low progesterone. Once I adjusted my thyroid levels, I started ovulating on my own. The only problem I'm facing now is a short Luteal phase. My Luteal phase is 8 days. It started as 6 and over the months it has grown to 8. It's been consistently 8 days now for the past 3 cycles. I've tried B6 and vitamin C. My gyno wants me to try Femara one more time to see if I get a healthy O. If I do, I will continue with the Femara. If I don't, it off to an RE I go. Has anyone had any success with pregnancy with a short Luteal? </p>
