There's also Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury and Tiger World close to that. Both are kind of off the beaten path but we enjoyed them. Also, we haven't been yet but I've heard great things about the Imaginon library. There's also the Knights baseball games if you visit during their season and Romare Bearden Park next to the stadium. My parents still live there so I go back to visit a few times a year.</p> <p>Discovery Place and Discovery Place Kids are fun for kids. I used to go as a kid, and I have a friend who takes her preschooler and triplet toddlers there all the time. Also, the US National Whitewater Center is really cool, but it is better for older kids and adults. We actually had our wedding and reception there.
