@grizz: thank you ;)

@betsyboop: I will throw in http://www.chowstalker.com. It is more of a recipe database, but you can find grain or dairy free substitutes for pretty much any dish you can think of. They even have desserts, too!

If you are not used to eating clean, it will take your body time to adjust - so make sure you give it time before declaring any recipe really tasty or not. Your body gets hooked on salts, sugars and fats, so if that's what your used to eating, simpler, cleaner food won't take good for awhile.

One way to start is by making changes to your current favorite dishes - what do you like to eat? It's always easier to make small changes to keep what you like!

We have two cookbooks, The Best of Clean Eating and The Best of Clean Eating 2 and I can't recommend them enough. Every recipe except maybe one has been really good, and you would never know that they're "healthy". I'm a super picky eater I've found a lot of recipes we use all the time and even serve for company. Of the two, I'd go with this one first:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Best-Clean-Eating-Cleaned-Up/dp/1552100979/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1389502139&sr=8-7&keywords=clean+eating

I love this chicken recipe! We can usually stretch it for three meals!

We do soup once a week, usually veggies and lentils. Fish once a week. Black bean tacos (in corn or whole wheat tortillas). Then some kind of veggie based meal, like a salad. Oh she glows has some great vegan recipes.

We don't eat a ton of meat, because we can't afford it and prefer local, free range/grass fed/organic meat. So limiting meat helps a lot.

Simple substitutions like whole wheat pasta, legumes, etc. can go a long way.

@blackbird: I hadn't thought of balsamic on veggies! I'll have to try that!

@grizz: Thanks, will check out that blog. Hopefully I can fool DH with a couple recipes :wink:

We just do a lot of roasted veggies and grilled meats! Balsamic vinegar, garlic, etc. Not too many recipes unless I want something specific. There's always a ton on Pinterest

I try :) I fail a lot, but its something I'm actively working at. My husband loves the recipes we've made from @tlcbaby's blog - What I Gather. He doesn't like things that taste healthy, and she has some great filling, savory recipes - DH can't tell the difference :)

DH and I have been trying to eat relatively "clean" but I'm struggling to find tasty recipes. I'm not too picky but DH isn't a fan of food that tastes healthy. So far the best source for recipes I've found is Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbook It's All Good. I have the book Clean by Dr. Alejandro Junger but we haven't loved his recipes.

Anyone else have recipe suggestions? Scouring all the clean eating blogs has become somewhat overwhelming!
