Right now, zipcar garage is actually in our building so it doesn't matter. We rent cars to go to the ILs in CT but you are right, weight is a real issue. Especially with taking taxis etc. </p> <p>I don't know if we are staying in teh city for number 2 or not, I'm just concerned because my nephew is 3 and he looks about 6 so I worry that the Combi might not work. I'll have to go to a BBB and check it out in person. I want to rear face as long as possible. We have taken it out and reinstalled it once (taken out to clean the car so we didn't have to readjust it or anything). I asked DH if it was a PITA and he said no it just clipped in to the latch like the infant seat.</p> <p>The other night DH was supposed to pick DS up from my parents while I was away, so I just left my car and took one of theirs. DH was going to leave his car for me and take mine home, but he ended up staying there until I came back. The risk is that having to install/uninstall all the time means you will probably not get a great install 100% of the time.
