Warm compresses always make me feel better when I have ear infections. You can also try massaging her jaw and the area around her ear. Sometimes doing that helps things to drain a little bit.

Awww...we're in the same boat. We're doing Advil at night, Tylenol during the day — the doctor wasn't sure if it was an inner ear infection because the middle section was so pus-filled. (ewww...). So we're doing both ear drops and oral antibiotics (going back to check her out again so we're not taking unnecessary meds)

Motrin helps us the most !! Also our nurse called in numbing drops. She's gonna feel better soon with the antibiotic though. I reccomend a probiotic for the tummy issues that come with antibiotic !

LO had a cold for a few days (stuffy, little cough) and then we had a trip down to Florida for a short trip. The last night she didn't sleep at ALL, and today, I noticed her clawing at an ear. Not sure if it was bothering her from the flight or if it could be an ear infection, I brought her in. It turned out to be an ear infection. :(

We have one dose if amoxicillin in her, and I gave her a dose of baby Tylenol...anything else I can do to make her feel better? Does booger sucking hurt their ears? She's still stuffy so that's been miserable too.
