At my 40 week appointment I was still pregnant, of course, and needed to be induced for high blood pressure.</p> <p>I was induced with Pitocin and was in labor for 16 hours. The nice part was that they never turned my pitocin drip up over a 1 or a 2....it was literally the tiniest dose ever. my body just needed a little kick start! They ended up being able to turn the Pit drip off entirely after 11 hours or so. Those pitocin contractions are brutal, though! </p> <p>fingers crossed baby comes soon for you! I was literally half way dilated and my body still refused to go into labor.
