Desert essence in tea tree oil works relatively well. My husband uses a brand called herban cowboy and the stuff is amazing. I am going to look for a scent I like, because he works all day and still smells good. It's crazy.

The most natural thing I've ever used is a lemon or a lime under my armpits. it works!

I use Tom's in the lavender scent. While my body eventually adjusted, I had to give up on not being smelly during exercise.

In the summer I just keep a spare deodorant stick in my purse or desk drawer.

I like lavanila deodorants. They smell awesome and work the best out of all the ones I've tried. It's a bit pricey but it lasts. Unfortunately you're always going to feel more moisture if you're not using an antiperspirant.

It is the only one I found that actually works. However, my skin hates me and it completely dried me out after a month of using it. I think its just me though.

@deerylou: I don't know the exact proportions. I re-google it when I need to make more. You could definitely add some essential oil. I've seen tea tree recommended to make it a bit stronger, and I keep meaning to add lavender for scent.

@Torchwood: Awesome. Recipe/procedure? Think you could add a few drops of essential oil, too?

I'd love to hear suggestions on this! Right now I am using dove every other day. I haven't found a natural one that works for me, but I figure using it every other day cuts my exposure in half & I don't stink ;) I'd love to ditch my dove though (well, I'd love something healthier, but I do love dove!)

I am on the look-out for an all natural deodorant (no aluminum, no parabens) that actually works.

I have tried Tom's of Maine and Arm & Hammer, but neither really gets the job done. I feel like they're fine if I'm having a low-key day, but they don't seem to work while exercising, or on warmer days. Also, my underarms just feel incredibly wet, while wearing.

Has anyone had any luck with natural deodorant? I really want to give up my Secret antiperspirant.

Thanks!
