I don't use the whole line, so I do use another toner for taking off any extra dirt/make-up, then I splash on the lotion and pat it on my face, then I lotion. It's awesome, super moisturizing! I don't think you need to add anything unless you need extra's like eye cream or a specific serum. The lotion is the toner and milk is lotion! I found Hada Labo Gokujyun while looking for fragrance-free products and my trial size set is now on it's way.</p> <p>Quick question for those of you that use it: Do you use a toner with it? How about an essence or serum? I think I read that the "lotion" is actually an essence and the "milk" is the lotion, but I'm not sure. According to the instructions, the order is roughly like this:</p> <p>1 - cleansing oil<br /> 2 - foaming wash<br /> 3 - ?? (do I use a toner here)<br /> 4 - lotion<br /> 5 - ?? (does essence/serum go here) ??<br /> 6 - milk</p> <p>Does this order look right? Do you use a separate toner, essence, or serum? I'd save on shipping (and possibly avoid a double whammy on customs fees) if I order this stuff with other items I was already planning on buying, but I'm not sure if it's compatible/necessary.
