She still can't just sit there and entertain herself.. We sing, we play with toys, I usually give her "special" non-toy items to play with, eve a napkin she can shred! Or I feed her snacks. If it's REALLY bad, I'll let her watch a video on my phone. It was just time for us- but at 11 months I guess he's had time. Can you adjust the angle at all? No idea it that helps. We just switched to a convertible car seat (Chicco Nextfit), but it hasn't really helped. We ordered a Clek too to see if sitting up higher will help, but we haven't gotten it yet. </p> <p>If your lo hated the car seat, what helped? New car seat? Toys? Time? Wine (for mama)? </p>
