I wish I had started sooner bc the kids in my lessons (ability) group were so much younger! I think I only had lessons once a week or so, but I really liked it. I remember participating when i was a little kid. there are levels and you have to master a few skills to move up into the next level. We went to see disney on ice and my daughter has been talking about "the ice skating" non stop since. My aunt has a few pairs of skates in her size so I might bring her over the rink soon and let her try it out. I have no idea where she learned about ice dancing, but she pretends to do it in the living room. She's in gymnastics right now, and at 3 1/2 it seems like a lot for her to do both sports but she does not want to give up gymnastics. </p> <p>If your child ice skates/dances, what age did they start? Do they love it? </p>
