My little girl has always been more active at night no matter what I do. Around 34 weeks I talked to my doctor about having trouble sleeping though and she told me to take a half of a Unisom before bed. Sometimes I still had trouble falling asleep but I had no issues staying asleep at all. I'm having trouble sleeping again (at 40 weeks, 1 day) but I don't want to take that again because it did keep me pretty drowsy all night and I want to make sure I'm as alert as possible if contractions wake me up.

I am 27 weeks today and for the past week I haven't gotten very much sleep. I'm currently getting maybe 3-4 hours a night if I'm lucky. Everytime I lay down to sleep LO decides it's time to have a dance party in my belly. I use a Boppy Pregnancy Pillow so I sleep on my side. LO kicks the bed all night long and when I turn to the other side he/she just switches and kicks my other side. I can't sleep on my back because it hurts and when I attempt to nap during the day LO starts getting crazy active again. I LOVE feeling baby move but I would also love some sleep at this point. The past few nights I started getting some hip pain as well so I'm incredibly tired and uncomfortable right now. Has anyone had this problem? How did you get some sleep and were you able to get LO to start moving during the day instead of partying all night?
