I went off the pill about 6 weeks ago and still have no sign of period. I also went off TTC and worried it may take longer then I expected. Husband and I got married and I stopped taking it and I got pregnant like 3 months later. We weren't trying and weren't preventing, we were just open to whatever happened. My gynecologist told me it's normal to take 6 months to a year or more to conceive after being on bc for so long so honestly I thought I had at least 6 months until I was going to quit smoking, cut back on drinking. I think it's best to stay positive, don't think about it too much and try to stay healthy. I work out regularly (running) and eat healthy, before getting pregnant I just smoked and drank a lot. While on Lo I only spotted a little in the beginning but no periods for the past 10mos. I've been off for almost a week. Really excited to TTC. Husband &amp; I are just seeing what happens, hope it doesn't take too long! Any good stories of a similar situation?! I'm sure it's normal but I feel like it might be hard to get pregnant... I was really nervous and was scouring for info, but too nervous to post yet :) anyway, no withdrawal bleed for me either, but had seriously sore boobs. Like showering hurt, the first month off. Got my period after 28 days. Then pretty normal periods, with a little bit if adjusting of my luteal phase for a couple months. I did not have any withdrawal bleeding after stopping Loestrin. During Loestrin I just had very mild spotting instead of AF (almost didn't even need a liner). After Loestrin I got AF at the same schedule that I had the spotting (i.e. every 28 days). Not sure if this makes any sense :-) Basically my body stayed on the same schedule, AF just got heavier once OFF of Loestrin. But no withdrawal bleeding.</p> <p>ETA: Regarding your latest comment, I basically didn't have a period either and I got pregnant very quickly. For the last couple years I was taking it I would get short periods 3 or 4 times a year. I stopped midpack and got some breakthrough bleeding for about 2 days five days after stopping.
