She has shown you she CAN do it, so I wouldn't worry. DD rolled tummy to back around 10 weeks and then back to tummy around 4 months. But, when she started doing back to tummy, she started refusing to do tummy to back and would rather scream until we saved her from her tummy. Even now she doesn't really go tummy to back - she goes tummy to sitting up.

I wouldn't worry  especially since your LO can already sit well and your ped isn't concerned. Maybe she is just not interested. I miss the times when mine didn't roll bc now diaper changes are a pain in the ass :silly:

My LO is 5 mo and doesn't roll at all. I think she CAN roll because she rolled swaddled once. But unless she is pissed off (i.e. swaddled in crib and we're not picking her up) she has no incentive I think? lol She seems super strong and she's doing just fine with cognitive milestones so I"m not worried. I think rolling just might not be her thing.

My LO never rolled around to move, or did too much rolling until 8-9 months, when rolling was an intermediate step in going between lying down sitting, and standing. He was cruising early, before crawling, crawled at 9 months, and first steps at 11 months.

DS1 was rolling by 4-5 months. DS2 is 5 months and has zero interest. He is super chubby and about 21 pounds which may play a factor. But honestly I think he is content on his back. He never even attempts to roll. He is more interested in trying to sit up and I can see progress there. As a second time mom, I'm way more laid back in general so I'm not worried. I would have been paranoid with my 1st.

My LO rolled tummy to back at 3 months and then never cared to do it again. He didn't roll back to tummy ever until a week ago at 8 months. He started crawling weeks ago! I wouldn't worry.

My LO rolled about four times total before crawling. It just wasn't her thing. Now she's 19 months and rolls on the floor every day.

DS was a late roller around 5/6 months. He crawled around 9, then walked at 11.

My DS rolled front to back at 5 months, but didn't go back to front until nearly 8 months. He never ever used it as a way of getting round! He was also a very chunky baby but I don't think that was why, I think it just didn't occur to him that he should be rolling!

It was between 7 and 8 months that Xander finally started rolling. And he was a lean baby - no chunk as an excuse!! And he was sitting up unassisted around 6 months I think. Crawled around 9.5 and walked at 14 months.

My LO never really rolled until maybe 6 months? She was sitting at 6.5 months, crawling at 9.5 months and is now pulling up to stand and walking with help at 10 months. I think she just wasn't interested in it.

My LO still doesn't roll from belly to back at 10 months! I know she *can* because I've seen her do it about twice, but she doesn't see any reason to do it, I guess. She started rolling back to belly on the later side, right at 6 months, and once she got used to it, she just wanted to be on her belly all the time. She HATES being on her back now, even for diaper changes. And once she learned how to sit up on her own, it completely obviated any need for her to be on her back, ever. I was a little worried at first but she's hitting every other milestone so I've decided just to roll with it (pun, pun). ;)

LO never rolled until almost 9 months! She was sitting at 5 months but late to roll and crawl for some reason (10 months). Then she caught up and is walking everywhere at 12 months.

Our little one never liked rolling. He did it a couple of times but I think since he hated being on his tummy he wouldn't roll onto it. He caught up in other milestones. He sat up early. Cruised before he crawled and just started walking at 11ish months. The not rolling thing stressed me out at the time. But like everyone told me - I shouldn't have worried!

My LO didn't really start rolling until 8 months and then he didn't crawl until 10 months so for 2 months all he did was roll around to get to places. I could actually see him lift his head to see where he wanted to go and he would just aim himself there - sometimes he even did fancy turns (almost like K-turns or 3-point turns). He was a big baby - during his first year he was always in the 90+ percentile for weight so I think it definitely had something to do with it. If your ped isn't worried about it, I think it's fine.

DD is 7 months and doesn't roll to get around. She did tummy to back a few times on our bed when she was 4ish months but hasn't really done it since. She'll do back to tummy a couple times a day. She can sit unassisted for long periods of time and will pass an object from one hand to another so I don't think I should be that concerned? The doctor said it may be because she's chunky but I don't know. DS was just as fat and at this age I had to put up barricades cuz he was all over the place. She just doesn't seem that motivate no matte what toy I tempt her with. Ease my mind mamas!!
