It's not easy at first but you really get into a groove once you start ! I ate a lot of salads with balsamic, lots of oatmeal for breakfast, and grilled meats and veggies for supper. Coconut milk was my favorite milk alternative and I especially liked the So Delicious brand for creamer in my coffee and ice cream ! </p> <p>I wanted to give up but am so glad I didn't ! I eliminated soy and dairy at 3 months. I reintroduced soy at 4 months and he did great! At 7 months I slowly reintroduced dairy and he has been fine and I eat normally now ! He's 6 months now and we're still going strong! It definitely hasn't been easy, but if you're dedicated to the elimination diet you can make it work. It's so worth it to see your LO feel better and thriving. And the weight loss is a perk :happy: I agree with some of the previous posters who recommended potentially looking for a new pediatrician. It resolved itself at 6 months when we introduced solids. Best of luck to you! It is difficult, but worth it. And like @MamaMoose: said, you may want to find a new ped. Mine NEVER suggested formula. Coacheswife's sweet little boy had MSPI &amp; he's only had breast milk. He's 8 months now, and she's able to start to introducing milk &amp; soy back into her diet. We are seven months in and plan on continuing for a while. There are some tough moments and I basically had to become un- vegetarian to feel healthy but the way he is thriving makes it worthwhile for sure. I have essentially been told that nothing is wrong. LO has not had some of the symptoms but she does have others. The green poop, wheezing, reflux (although that seems to be going away but it did seem to happen when I ate dairy) and once she had a very suspect bowel movement (it looked dark like grape jelly). The wheezing that comes and goes from time to time concerns me, and I also think it is related to it. I know that when I don't eat dairy, she has perfect yellow poop. :) I wish my pediatrician would really listen. I ultimately had to a cut: dairy, soy, gluten, egg, nuts, peanuts, &amp; coffee! It wasn't easy &amp; increased our grocery bill quite a bit, but the formula we would've needed costs more &amp; I'm glad we were able to stick it out! We were able to add everything back by 14 mths without issue..... for other reasons we're fixing to cut dairy &amp; wheat again along with processed foods so soy will mostly go too. </p> <p>You can totally do it!!!!
