They're really natural, you can't tell at all when they are growing out. Just keeps things fresh! I started to highlight in my late twenties, and I was very particular about it. I wanted a very natural "summer" look. I found a colorist who colored another natural blonde's hair and I liked his work.</p> <p>I haven't highlighted my hair in over 3 years now, since I was pregnant with DS 1. I might do it again after DS 2 comes, but it's so darn expensive. Plus now that I live outside the city, I can't justify going back to my favorite colorist in SOHO. I died my hair for the first time ever 2 years ago. I got partial highlights and I love it! Really freshens my hair up. I only get it done 3 times a year.
