@misolee: It's a phonics/reading/math app. I just checked my son's ipad and the one he uses all of the time where you don't need a WiFi connection is Starfall ABCs. The regular Starfall app does need the internet but we never use that one actually. I believe Starfall itself is a paid membership (a lot of schools/teachers use it), but the ABCs app is free and has a lot of content.

Thinkrolls has part two and three (Kings and Queens). Your older will like that. Dr. Panda for 2 year old.

Netflix and Amazon Prime you can both download stuff to watch offline.

My almost 4 year old has loved Sago Mini games for forever; I think at 2.5 should be able to play by himself. I also have a few puzzle games.

If you have Netflix you can download shows/movies to work without WiFi. Just takes a fair amount of space.
Thinkrolls is fun - my 3yo can do some and 6yo still likes it
The monkey preschool games have interested 3yo for years. 6yo May enjoy helping 2yo do it? Also 3yo really likes zoo train and all the sago mini games (some are free). I think those would be good for 2yo also.

We’re way out of date because we don’t use them a ton, but on the flip side they have stood the test of time!

ETA you are amazing for doing this flight!!

We’re embarking on a 14 hour flight next week (God help us) with my 6 year old, 2.5 year old, and a six month old. So iPad it is. I’m pretty conservative when it comes to iPad usage so the kids don’t really use it except to watch Saturday morning cartoons on it where we we chromecast it to the tv.

We need some games (no WiFi) that will keep both of them occupied. No clue for what to get for two year old. The six year old can read pretty well so reading games or phonics games are out. Any ideas?
