Not even TTC here and I've already started thinking about certain things I do and don't want. I'll occasionally read posts about birth stories just to see what other women did. I'd like to have a clear idea of exactly what I want by the time I'm pregnant so I think it's good to start gathering information early.

We aren't planning to TTC for another couple years but I definitely have some aspects of my birth plan already determined.

Med free in a hospital (or potentially a birthing center IF it is connected to a hospital). I'd like to at least labor in water if not actually have a water birth. I want to be able to move around during labor if I want / it helps me. I want DH and my mom to be in the room.

Not pregnant yet... TTC... and I've recently started thinking about this a lot more. I want to do non-epidural... but that's also with the option to have it done as well... I want to look into details and get some more info on it well before I'm into pregnancy.

I had my birth plan figured out long before TTC. Meds, and lots more meds.

i have definitely looked into it and thought about it a ton. i feel like things will become more clear when i do get pregnant and depends on how my pregnancy goes (no complications, etc)

I haven't written anything down, but I know I want to try to have a natural birth at a birthing center. I even know about the birh center closest to my home. I've browsed their website and I follow their blog. Now I just need to get pregnant!

I don't have a specific birth plan laid out yet, but anytime I see someone else post theirs, I always follow along like "Yep, I'll be doing that" or "Nope, mine will be the opposite"

before I was pregnant or TTC I still was very interested in labor and birth although I hadnt dont much research, I kinda sorta had a birth plan, but it was only when I got pregnant that I started to do real research and realized there was so much I didnt know before so its never too early to start thinking about it or planning towards it

Hi, my name is Danielle, and I am addicted to all things TTC, pregnancy, childbirth, babies, etc.

Now that we have that out of the way, anyone else crazy like me and already have the beginning of a birth plan? Unmedicated birth is a big desire of mine, but I know DH & I will both be more comfortable with a hospital setting. I'm already planning on us taking Bradley classes and having a doula. I took it pretty far today though - during my lunch break I actually started outlining things I want for my birth plan! I'm insane, right? I'm insane.
